Late 2013 I broke my Achilles tendon. To evade total boredom from sitting on my behind for several weeks I decided to give water colour painting a go.. I did some paintings as Christmas presents and friends asked me to paint a couple of commission pieces for them.
Since then I've completed a good number of commissions and have been gratified by the response from them all! Over 100 commissions have been portraits including horses, cats, dogs and children. Included in the photos are a number of exhibition entries: the hare was selected for entry in the Tasman Art Awards 2019. All exhibition paintings have been sold. Please check out my photos (water colour does not photograph well so the original paintings are more vibrant than photos).
Painting size starts from A3 - (29cms x 42cms).
Animals portraits start from $350 and people portraits from $500.
